Under the Bridge: The Troll’s Tale by SRT Centre for Creative Learning September 2025
What really happened under the bridge that day? This September, your young actors will step into the shoes (or hooves) of trolls, goats, and unexpected heroes as we turn a classic tale on its head.
Under the Bridge: The Troll’s Tale invites campers to reimagine The Three Billy Goats Gruff from a whole new perspective, exploring themes of misunderstanding, empathy, and second chances. Through engaging drama activities your young actors will dive into the troll’s world and discover that there is always more than one side to every story.
As the week unfolds, campers will build confidence, collaborate with peers, and develop their own unique take on this well-known tale. The camp culminates in a lively showcase where your young actor will proudly perform their reimagined version of this unforgettable story!

那天桥下到底发生了什么事？
今年九月，让小演员们化身为山羊、巨魔，还有那些意想不到的英雄，一起颠覆传统，重新演 绎这个经典童话！
《桥下故事：巨魔的一天》将带领孩子们从全新的角度出发，重新想象《三只山羊》的故事， 探索误解、同理心与重新开始的主题。通过一系列有趣的戏剧活动，小演员们将深入巨魔 的 世界，发现每个故事不止一个版本。
在这一周的旅程中，孩子们将建立自信、学会合作，并创造出属于自己的独特版本。最终，他 们将在精彩的展示中，自豪地呈现这个耳熟能详却焕然一新的故事！
8 – 12 Year Olds
Is the troll really the bad guy, or have the goats been telling a twisted tale? This September, your 8 to 12 year olds will step into a world of surprises as they uncover new sides to a familiar story.
With lots of fun teamwork and creative storytelling, campers will explore the troll’s backstory and discover there’s more to his character than just gobbling goats! They’ll learn about kindness, honesty, and giving others a second chance - whether they’re a misunderstood troll or some clever goats with secrets of their own!
Stage Camp by SRT Centre for Creative Learning is a devising-based programme that takes on a child-centred, process-first approach leading up to an informal stage showcase on the final day.
Together with an experienced teaching artist, your young actor(s) will explore the following skills and key competencies…
Communication & Collaboration: Foster important values like respect, teamwork, and confidence development.
Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Step into the shoes of different characters developing empathy and a deeper understanding of diverse perspectives and experiences.
Open Mindedness & Integrity: Explore different sides of a story, challenge assumptions and learn to stay true to what is honest and fair.

今年九月，8 至 12 岁的孩子们将走进一个充满惊喜的世界，重新发现这个熟悉故事的另一 面。
通过有趣的团队合作与富有创意的故事创作，孩子们将深入挖掘巨魔的背景故事，发现他远不 止是一个“吃山羊”的角色！他们将学习善良、诚实，以及给他人第二次机会的重要性——无论 是被误解的巨魔，还是那些藏有秘密的聪明山羊！
新加坡专业剧场创意教育中心的 Stage Camp 戏剧营是一个以儿童为中心、编创为基础的课程， 通过“过程优先”的创作及教育方式，将会在戏剧营的最后一天带来一出非正式地小品。
经验丰富的戏剧导师将会带领小演员们一同发掘以下几项关键技能:
沟通与团队协作能力：培养重要的价值观比如相互尊重、团队协作、自信心的培养。
同理心与情商：通过不同人物的视角来培养同理心，并更深入地理解多样化的观点和经历。
开放思维与正直品格：探索故事的不同角度，挑战固有看法，并学习坚持诚实与公正的原则。
