Embodied Narratives — Class by Krisha Balakrishnan

This class uses improvisation and a movement phrase to explore memory, emotion, and dynamics, blending technique with personal expression. Through a playful approach, participants refine how intention and connection shape stories, fostering curiosity, creativity, and shared discovery.

About the Artist:

Krisha is a versatile dance artist known for her unique style and quality. With a decade of professional experience as an instructor, choreographer, performer, and judge, she has earned numerous championships both individually and with her crew, "The Débutante." Her achievements include directing Absolute 3 and winning the NTU HOCC Dance Competition (2021–2022) and the 2024 Lion City Dance Convention Showcase Competition. Passionate about mentorship, Krisha teaches weekly open classes at O school and founded "The Space I Hold," a platform for sharing creative practices and building community. For Krisha, dance remains a medium for discovery, expression, and connection.
