This workshop invites participants to reflect on the dualities within self-perception through reading, discussion, and visual experimentation. Inspired by Jorge Luis Borges’ short text “Borges and I,” the session explores the coexistence of two selves—the public persona and the private observer — and how they shape one another. Through a short collective reading and conversation, participants will identify their own “I” and “other I,” mapping out these internal dialogues.
The session concludes with a simple, hands-on visual exercise using collage and photography to materialize these reflections. No technical experience is required—just curiosity and openness.
By bridging text, theory, and image-making, the workshop invites participants to critically and creatively investigate the act of seeing and being seen.
Suitable for: Writers, visual artists, photographers, students, and anyone interested in self-reflection, identity, and creative exploration through text and visual media.
