Adapted from Lao She's beloved novel—a literary classic cherished by generations and twice adapted for television—this marks its grand debut on the stage. Directed by Tian Qinxin, renowned for her successful adaptations of literary gems like Xiao Hong's "The Field of Life and Death" and Eileen Chang's "Red Rose, White Rose," this production is a heartfelt tribute to Lao She's timeless masterpiece.
