新加坡三江梨园社隶属于三江会馆，成立于2016年，致力于传承和发扬越剧表演艺术。本社现为中国“全球越剧戏迷嘉年华” 海外常务理事单位及 “中华越友会” 新加坡站站长职务，并特聘中国国家梅花奖获得者李敏老师和新加坡资深戏曲导演张莉老师为艺术顾问。

三江梨园社每年举办大型越剧演出、艺术讲座及专业培训，并在疫情期间（2020-2022年）推出了“越剧流派艺术展演”系列，成为本社的旗舰特色节目。该展演活动每两年举办一次，为团员，尤其是新秀，提供展示舞台表演技艺及流派唱腔艺术的机会。本社始终不遗余力地培养新一代戏曲人才，吸引了众多青少年和学生参与，为新加坡的越剧艺术发展打造了重要平台。

成立九年以来，三江梨园社凭借精湛的演技和不懈的努力，取得了卓越成就。团员们曾荣获新加坡戏曲学院胡姬花优秀演员奖及中国全球越剧票友最高奖 ~ 兰花奖。2023年10月21日，全本越剧《祥林嫂》的成功演出吸引了中国 “越剧之家” 组织越剧代表团专程来新加坡观摩，见证该经典剧目在海外的首演。2023年12月，绍兴演艺集团特别组织文化专家及梅花奖越剧演员赴新加坡三江梨园社进行国际文化调研，探索新中两国戏曲文化合作的新模式，为推动国粹的全球化发展提供新思路。

Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe, affiliated with the Sam Kiang Huay Kwan, was established in 2016 with a mission to preserve and promote Yue Opera (越剧) performing arts in Singapore. The troupe holds the esteemed position of Overseas Executive Director of the Global Yue Opera Fans Carnival and serves as the Singapore Representative of the Chinese Yue Opera Friendship Association. It has also invited renowned artists, including Plum Blossom Award winner Ms. Li Min and Singaporean opera director Ms. Zhang Li, as its artistic advisors.

Each year, the troupe organizes large-scale performances, art lectures, and professional training programs to nurture a new generation of opera talents. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it launched the “Yue Opera Genre Art Showcase” series, now a signature biennial event. This platform enables members, particularly emerging talents, to refine and present their stage performance skills and vocal techniques across different Yue Opera genres.

Over the past nine years, the troupe has earned widespread recognition for its dedication and excellence. Its members have been honoured with the Orchid Outstanding Performer Award by the Singapore COI and the highest Orchid Award from global Yue Opera fans in China. In 2023, the troupe staged a full-length production of “New Year Blessing”, which drew a delegation from “Yue Opera Home” in China to witness its overseas premiere in Singapore. That same year, the Shaoxing Performing Arts Group organized a cultural delegation comprising experts and Plum Blossom Award-winning Yue Opera artists to visit the Sam Kiang Chinese Opera Troupe. This international exchange aimed to foster new Sino-Singaporean collaborations in Chinese opera, exploring innovative pathways for the global development of traditional performing arts.

As a leading force in Yue Opera in Singapore, the troupe continues to cultivate young talents, attract new enthusiasts, and strengthen cultural ties within the global Chinese opera community.

The troupe has received strong support from the Sam Kiang Huay Kwan and the NAC of Singapore. In recent years, the troupe has achieved outstanding results, establishing a solid reputation in the opera community and attracting many young talents and professionals to join.

Looking ahead, the troupe will continue to uphold its rigorous training system and refined artistic style, remaining deeply rooted in Singapore while embracing a global vision. The troupe is committed to showcasing the brilliance of Yue Opera on the international stage, allowing this traditional art form to Singapore to worldwide.

《西厢记>的剧情简介》

古装喜剧。写唐贞元间书生张珙，在普救寺邂逅已故崔相国之女莺莺，发生爱情。时河桥守将孙飞虎兵围普救寺，强索莺莺为妻，崔夫人当众许愿：有退得贼兵者以莺莺许之，张珙驰函好友白马将军杜确发兵解围。然崔夫人嫌张贫寒而赖婚，张珙相思成疾，莺莺在侍婢红娘撮合下，夜奔西厢探慰张珙，事为崔夫人发觉，拷问红娘，红娘据实以告。夫人不得已而将莺莺许配张珙，但又借口不招白衣女婿，迫张上京赶考，莺莺与张珙满怀离愁而别。

Synopsis of Romance of the Western Chamber

A historical romantic comedy. Set during the Zhenyuan era of the Tang Dynasty, it tells the story of a scholar named Zhang Gong who encounters Cui Yingying, daughter of the late Prime Minister Cui, at the Pujiu Temple and falls in love with her.

When General Sun Feihu surrounds the temple and demands to take Yingying as his wife, Madam Cui publicly declares that whoever can drive away the enemy shall win her daughter’s hand. Zhang quickly sends a letter to his friend, General Du Que, who comes to the rescue and lifts the siege.

However, Madam Cui, disliking Zhang's poverty, goes back on her word. Zhang falls ill from lovesickness. With the help of the clever maid Hongniang, Yingying secretly visits Zhang in the western chamber to comfort him. Their affair is discovered by Madam Cui, who interrogates Hongniang. Hongniang tells the truth, forcing Madam Cui to reluctantly agree to the match.

Yet, she insists she cannot accept a son-in-law with no official status and sends Zhang to the capital to take the imperial exam. Zhang and Yingying part with sorrowful hearts.
